Medical, Regulatory and Compliance Roles in Health Products Industry Qualification
The Health Products Information Officer supports the medical advisory and/or product specialist team and/or regulatory compliance team to research, collate, analyse and represent information related to health products that the company sells and/or health products that are deemed competitor products. In addition, the Health Products Information Officer will provide informational support and manage the safety profile of assigned health products.

Self-paced online e-learning, Virtual Classrooms, In-real-life practical days, Implementing Knowledge in the Workplace, Time Spent on Portfolio of Evidence (PoE), Assessment and Feedback Sessions
HPIO Qualification Outcomes
The learners completing the qualification will be able to:

Collate, analyse, and represent scientific and regulatory information related to health products.

Support pharmacovigilance and safety reporting systems in line with industry regulations.

Understand and explain anatomy, physiology, and common health interventions.

Interpret product information to support health product sales and training activities.

Apply interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with stakeholders and internal teams.
If you already have a BSc Qualification which includes anatomy and physiology, biochemestry, medicine, or similar chances are is that you can be RPL'd for some of the Knowledge Modules in this Qualification
HPIO - % Time Spent Breakdown
The table below indicates the % of time that employees spend learning and doing workplace tasks during the learnership period.
The time spent learning is split into Online Self-Paced Learning (by themselves), virtual classrooms and in-real-life sessions (With Us, Diverse Conversations). The time spent on workplace tasks is the time spent with the approved workplace company (With You), which will give the learners the necessary experience to successfully complete this qualification.
